Materials Needed: 1) Smartphone Kite Hill is located in the eastern part of campus bordered by Perimeter Road, McMillan Road, and Anderson Highway (US Route 76). It can be recognized by the large water tower at the top of the hill. Kite Hill is the highest elevation on Clemson's campus. How do you think hills (and mountains) like this form? What do you think has prevented this particular hill from eroding away? You will need to create a Geocaching.com account to log your visit. Visit "There's Too Much Tension" on Geocaching.com (GCX code: GC6PZ6J) and navigate your way to the geocache. Once you've found it, click "Found It!" on the Geocaching.com app and complete the activity found here to receive extra credit. Once you click on this link, it will take you to a Google Form to complete. The top of the form should tell you what Google account you are logged into - make sure you are logged in with your g.clemson account or your response will not be reported. No Smartphone?
If you do not have a smartphone, a PDF version of the Google Form can be found below. You should print the PDF and bring it out to the location with you, using it to answer the questions. When you have finished the activity, return to your computer and enter the information you collected from this PDF. Be sure to take a Geoselfie before you leave the location!
